Do you ever get the feeling that you want to try some new unusual taste? You are tired of changing fruit and forest fruit mixes all the time and you start to feel that you don't have much to choose from anymore... Fortunately, this is not true at all, because there is a huge number of extremely unusual tobacco flavors that, when mixed with traditional ones, create a new palette of flavors. In the next part, I will tell you about one of my favorite exotic mixes that is unlike any other.
Preparation
First of all, prepare the coals on the stove. By the time the whole process is complete, the coal will be just ready. For starters, I'll tell you that I prefer a slightly higher than average tobacco strength. That is also why I will look for medium to dark when choosing tobacco. But do not worry, I will try to find an alternative among light tobaccos for everyone. We will prepare a crown - classic Turkish (not phunell), UPG, etc. We will also need a kalaud and four carbons (25mm). And finally, the most important thing – tobacco. In total, we mix three tobaccos, each in the same quantity. The first - spectrum energy storm - energy drink flavored tobacco, my favorite. Spectrum has a light range, or you can use stronger versions of tobacco from Daily Hookah. Another component of the mixture is spectrum bleberry. Delicate and sweet blueberry taste. Finally, the last component of the mix – satyr pussy fruit – the taste of pitaya, an exotic fruit also called dragon fruit. Satyr pussy fruit can be replaced with a lighter version of tobacco - dragon wind from Malaysian Tobacco, which has a similar taste, but is not as strong. We use all three components of the mixture in the same amount.
Loading tobacco and heating
I prefer to fill the crown with tobacco in parts (different tobacco in each part of the crown), so that all the flavors are best expressed evenly. Some people like to stack tobacco in layers on top of each other so that the tobacco heats up gradually and the taste changes in the process. Another way is to mix all three tobaccos together and pour them into the crown. Each of these methods has its pluses and minuses, there is no point in dwelling on it for a long time. As for the filling method itself, I prefer a light so-called air filling, I don't compress the tobacco, while I don't make a hole in the middle, as you would if you want a light puff of smoke. We have the crown ready, the carbons are suitable, we can continue. Personally, I usually preheat the kalaud before I put it on the crown. It takes about 1-2 minutes, then I put the red-hot coals on top and put the kalaud on the crown together with them. If we hear a characteristic crackle, it means that the tobacco flavor in the crown will soon develop. 4 coals heat up the crown in 3-4 minutes (depending on the size of the crown).
What is the result
As soon as the crown is hot, remove one coal and slowly smoke three times. If everything went well, the pipe will not have an unpleasant taste of burnt tobacco, and at the same time you will feel the taste well. The overall impression is roughly that at first you will feel the unusual taste of dragon fruit together with the energy drink, but when you exhale, the pleasant sweet taste of blueberries prevails. An excellent mix with sour tones and a mixture of exotics.
